Just getting this card in a little late (but it is still the 17th here in California!). I was inspired by what I was seeing people do with the Western sets for this month's WMS Waltz for masculine cards. So I got out my own set and tried my hand at it. It took a little work to get the right difference in ink coverage for the three western rider and horse, but I think I got it now.
The card was missing a little something so I added some twine (the substitute for ribbon but still okay for guys, right?). I think it finishes the card off nicely.
Thanks for stopping by my little blog. Hopefully this will be the start of my comeback to the paper crafting world. Just two finals left this week and then I'm free for the summer!

You did a great job with this masculine card. The twine is the perfect finishing touch!
Great card, Laurie! I think the twine is the perfect addition. Very rugged!
Great job Laurie and I love all the distressed edges.
What a great card, Laurie and I'm glad to see you out here! Good luck with your finals!!
Better late than never...love love love the twine and the "horses of a different color" great idea.
Great card. I like the distressed edges and twine too.
A true masculine card!
What a great card! It's neat the way you graduated the intensity of the horseman, and I like the distressing on the sentiment piece!
You got just the right touch for a masculine card. All the elements, twine, stamp, ink color and destressing. Great idea.
